Elon Musk-owned X (formerly Twitter) is down as of now. This is a second major outage in the past one week, after the social media platform went down yesterday. Twitter users across the world reported facing problems with the microblogging platform. According to Downdetector.com – the website performance tracking tool, nearly over 2,000 users globally reported issues with the social media platform. Of these, 45% faced trouble accessing the app, while 19% reported issues with the website. Users have not been able to access their timeline. Trouble in sending Direct Messages (DMs) is another issue reported by users.

In a post shared after the previous outage, X’s Engineering account shared: “X is aware some of our users are experiencing performance issues on the platform today. We are experiencing a data center outage and the team is actively working to remediate the issue.”However, the post was shared almost yesterday. There has been no update from the company for the latest outage today.

X users in India are also impacted by the outage. Users in the country are facing similar issues as those globally, reporting issues while loading the timeline, not been able to see the posts, and they continue to face problems while sending DMs.
