The woman found dead on a docked boat at a ritzy Hamptons yacht club has been identified as 33-year-old local designer Martha Nolan-O’Slatarra.
Nolan-O’Slatarra was found dead at the Montack Yacht Club in Long Island, New York, on Tuesday after a man called 911 around midnight to report an “unconscious” woman on a boat, the Suffolk County Police Department said in a news release. Good Samaritans attempted to perform CPR, but she was pronounced dead by first responders.
A preliminary investigation and examination were inconclusive regarding her cause of death, authorities said.

Suffolk County Police said homicide detectives are investigating the death.
Nolan-O’Slatarra, who lived in Manhattan, was the founder of the clothing brand East x East, according to her social media. She was also the director of operations for K IV Capital Management in New York. Neither company returned a request for comment on Wednesday.
Montauk Yacht Club spans 16 acres on Lake Montauk. A spokesperson for the club said it was “saddened to learn of the incident that took place” and is cooperating with law enforcement.
