The European Union on Monday said that a plane carrying EU chief Ursula von der Leyen was hit by suspected Russian GPS jamming while preparing to land in Bulgaria on Sunday.Speaking to reporters in Brussels, European Commission spokeswoman Arianna Podesta said, “We can indeed confirm that there was GPS jamming, but the plane landed safely in Bulgaria.“
“We have received information from the Bulgarian authorities that they suspect that this was due to blatant interference by Russia,” Podesta added.This is a developing copy
